Ok so first, the idea of a game like this is awesome !
Then IDK why but the other night I dream about this game with "weird things"(I use that word to describe how confused I was whe I woke up), I write everything I remembered and IDK if it can helps in any way and it will be just a blurry mix with some explanation(yea I tried to understand my dream with the different fetishes xD) :
There was a new map I think it was like THE food factory of the game even water / juice bottles / beer are made here, a new character was here too.
I think it was like a manager or something like this, there was a new mini game to earn money and I failed so the manager punished my character by force feeding with a machine.
Then IDK how my brain was able to think of this, but there was a "back" sprite of my character and sometimes the punishement was with water in the other holes.
In the end my character was failing everytime and tried to invite Emma to go out at the factory then nothing but I guess I can imagine what happens...
What a fcked up dream but there it is, I had to talk about this I was so confused and maybe it can help in a way.
Edit : Oh after checking my piece of paper, the manager had a "dominant personality" and I had a glimpse where the roles are inverted for the punishement, well now that's all, good luck with the development of your game !
I think you should add more weight size's and you should add a few fast food places like the macdonalds (mcdonalds but its different for copy write reasons)
and a few more places, you should also add the back yard and front yard and like you can put burgers together to make a burger pack or you can put pizza pieces together in cooking and make a pizza
More sizes are planned, but not immediately. There are other features I want to work on first. There will also be more places including a fast food joint and an all-you-can-eat buffet.
There are no plans to combine foods of the same type together into a stack for now. But I may implement a stacking mechanic to feed your character multiple items at once. I'll think about it.
I will! I'm currently reworking the sprites to include more body types, and I'm almost done with making the different sprite parts. You can expect an update by the end of the month if everything goes right.
After that I'll go back to work on actual content: NPC, dialogs, places, games mechanics... Which should take a bit less time than this update.
The characters' capacity are softlocked to 100% ; once you reach 100%, they'll generally refuse to keep eating until you let them digest. However:
It is possible to feed them up to 99%, then finish with a very filling food to shoot past 100%.
When you invite a NPC with a feeder trait over (presently your only option would be Emma after completing her "feeder questline"), that NPC can feed your character a few times. When you do this, it bypasses the fullness check, so feeder NPCs can feed your character past 100%.
Also, something worth noting: your character's maximum capacity will increase as you feed her and will unlock extra sprites where your character's belly gets much bigger (in total, there are 7 fullness steps including the "empty" one). It's a bit of a grind, but the more stuffed she is, the more her maximum capacity will increase, and trying to go past 100% will make this process a bit faster.
Befriend Emma enough and you'll have a new option to invite her over. Do this and feed your character in front of her. After doing it a few times, you'll unlock new dialogues and events with her. Keep it up and she'll eventually become your character's feeder.
Salut je t'envoie se commentaire pour te donner de la force car j'adore le jeu, il est très beau et satisfaisant à jouer. J'attends avec impatience son développement futur !!
but you can bypass the whole time system by just stuffing the character and getting them to sleep, at least having time pass after using the bed would be realistic
Sleeping doesn't bypass anything, it's just the way your character digests food. It is not realistic, but this game isn't really meant to be hyper realistic either.
Hey, I love the game, hope you decide to do more with it. I do have a question. I ended up looking in the dialog and event scripts for the game after playing for a good amount and came across what looked like storylines for Emma being a feedee and conversations while stuffed in the grocery. No matter what I tried though, I couldn't figure out a way to activate these dialog trees. Are these just placeholders/unfinished code, or is there something I overlooked, or is it possible this might even be a bug. I would love to know, thanks.
Glad you liked it. I still have a lot more planned, but what I'm currently working on is taking a lot time.
All dialogs currently in the dialog files are functional! But you may need to increase a few stats before being able to play them, such as your relation level with Emma, or your character's stomach capacity.
i want to create a game of my own but i have no exp, i don't know how to use coding and i don't have a way to create it. (i don't have the software/apps to even create the characters.) Any ideas?
Code-wise, it depends on what you want to do exactly. For an RPG, RPG Maker will make your life easier. For a visual novel, Renpy would be a good place to start.
Game Maker is a pretty good general solution for everything 2D in my opinion, especially if you're a new dev or don't have a lot of experience. It has a drag-and-drop mode which allows you to make games with algorithms instead of "pure" code, so if you're still learning i can be a nice tool. But the drag-and-drop mode will show its limits pretty quickly and you will want to switch to GML ; Game Maker Language. You can find plenty of tutorials on youtube which will allow you to make small projects while learning the basics of GML.
The only gripe I have with Game Maker is that it's subscription-based. There's a free version which allows you to run your game locally and export to OperaGX, but if you want to export to Windows, Linux or Mac you will need to buy a license for at least one month.
You can also take a look at Godot, I haven't used it but I know it's a powerful game engine and it's entirely free and open source. It might not be as newbie-friendly as Game Maker, but if I keep making games once I have finished this one, Godot will probably be my preferred choice.
You will find multiple resources on google. Whatever solution you choose to go with (Game Maker, Godot, RPG Maker...), the user manual is your friend. If you're stuck with something, read it. Youtube tutorials are a good way to start short projects and learn. For Game Maker, I liked the videos of Shaun Spalding, PixelatedPope and FriendlyCosmonaut. I even started from one of FriendlyCosmonaut's tutorials for Debucon's menus and dialog system. In a broader sense, DesignDoc and Masahiro Sakurai's channels are also very interesting regarding general game design. Finally, if you're really stuck, you will find various communities on Reddit or on official forums on which you can ask for assistance.
Regarding the graphics, if you're willing to produce your own assets, I have been using Pixlr for a long time. It's pretty much Photoshop, but online. Fatahlia has converted me to Gimp pretty recently, which is a free image editor software. Note that Game Maker comes with a sprite editor, but it's not a very good one and should only be used for small touch-ups.
Otherwise, you can find some assets packs on various sites, including itch.io. Some will cost you a few bucks, others are free of charges.
As a final note, be aware that making a game takes time, especially as a solo developer. I would advise to start with small projects for you to learn the basics and get a hold of how it works, follow a few tutorials and have fun with a small "sandbox" project to experiment on your own. Don't try to make something too ambitious right away, you will just disgust yourself. Take small steps, you'll get there eventually.
thank you i was thinking of creating a feeding game that uses animations with 3D characters with a bit extra 18+ for my horny brothers and sisters. (also i don't care for money and cant use money)
Not at the moment. Once the game is a bit more complete, I may set an optional payment method or open a ko-fi if people want to leave tips, but the game will remain free.
So I noticed a bug, actually 2 bugs. I would right click on the home door and go to world map and then select the Omnimarket and I would not be able to move after the loading finishes, and the second bug is if I right click Emma and click talk, which brings up an error which I have a screenshot for.
Edit: I saved after I was stuck and reset the game, I was still stuck but I fixed the issue by right clicking the bed after feeding my character and sleeping and that fixed the issue for now.
I haven't been able to reproduce the first glitch, but I could see why you would not be able to move even after restarting ; I included a few variables which should not be saved in the save metadata. I removed them, so if it happens again going back to the main menu should fix the issue. But if someone can replicate the glitch, more information on how to replicate it will be much appreciated.
I also fixed the Talk button glitch and a couple other bugs I found while debugging. All the fixes are available in the latest version (0.7.1).
I don't think so. From what I can see, Joiplay is not a windows emulator, it's an interpreter targeted for specific game engines and it seems Game Maker isn't one of the supported engines.
Looks like your game is having trouble accessing the write folder. Can you check if you can find the /AppData/Local/Debucon folder?
If you can't find it, something might be preventing the game from writing files on your computer, which is what would be causing the error. If you do find that folder, I'd need to take a look at the UserSettings.ini file that should be in there.
You don't have to make one, the game should take care of it as long as it has the rights to write in your AppData/Local folder.
You'll have to find what's preventing the game from writing to that folder, I can't provide much help with that since the issue is on your side. You can try running the game as administrator to see if it changes something and check if your antivirus isn't blocking it.
Wait a minute, that's not your first time running the game, right? I can see you commented a few month ago.
Are you sure you can't find that folder? The AppData folder should be located in C:\Users\[your windows username]\, it's a hidden folder. If you have already successfully run the game, the folder should exist, but the UserSettings.ini file is probably corrupted. Once you've located the folder (ask google how to find the AppData folder if you're having trouble), navigate to AppData > Local > Debucon and find the UserSettings.ini file. Open it with notepad/notepad++/your preferred text edition software, and copy its content here. We'll figure out how to fix it.
I'll look into implementing a foolproof in-game fallback solution in case of corrupted save files. It should be a rare occurrence, but better safe than sorry.
Hi it is me again, I think I found a bug the breast size and belly/body type does not have a effect on the body's vigur and I can't seem to be able to remove the character's clothing. Any suggestions?
The body types are not functional yet, it's mentioned on the character creator page when those options are selected. It'll be implemented hopefully in the next version.
Regarding the clothing, you should not be able to remove the underwear, that's intended. However, you should be able to remove accessories.
Ah, that's interesting. So the game could not access the dialogs files in the executable directory... Well good to know this can happen.
Just for curiosity's sake, are you using the ZIP or the installer? And are you running the game on Windows or are you going through some compatibility layer (Wine, Proton...)?
I am! The last update was in May, you can see the update history in the development log. I'll also upload the next update in a few hours, after a last round of testing.
The last screenshot is a screenshot of the Customization Tools, it's not directly in-game, but the file is in the download list.
You can either give her food she likes (this can be set up in the debug menu, "Edit character" option), or just wait a bit. If you don't feed her nasty food anymore, she should naturally cheer up in a few days.
Update is going well! I'm remaking the sprites to allow for more body shapes, which is taking a lot of time, but it should be worth it. I also made one new area so far, fixed a few glitches and made some optimizations. I'm still nowhere near done, but at the pace I'm going currently I think the next update will be ready around late-September / early October.
As for the dev, doing good. Balancing work and personal projects has been getting easier now that I'm used to working from home.
that's nice! also saw the credits yesterday cuz why not, am not experienced either, but I wanna try helping with writing, maybe art but that after I see what you plan to do and get something similar to your vision, ofc only if you think I would be able to help!
I'm putting the graphic pack on hold for a bit, because I'm trying to completely rework the sprite system in order to implement different body types the smart way, and I'll also need to alter the clothes a little. But if people want me to post the new clothes sprites in the meantime I absolutely can.
I'll look into that bug, the hat shouldn't be available yet, probably forgot to remove a test script.
Regarding the custom clothes, I can't give a definitive answer, but custom sprites are on my "to study" list. The thing is, Game Maker is not very good at handling sprites from an external source, so I need to make sure it won't impact the performances too badly, and creating a set of custom clothes will be a lot of work for the users. I am also thinking of a way to be able to use 2D sprites the same way you'd use 3D assets, with a colorless model on which you'd apply a texture. In theory it could work and would make for a pretty easy way to modify outfits, but that would be a very long development and I'd possibly run into the same performance issues. So that's probably going to be one of the last features I'll work on.
if you can release the graphics with the updated clothes it would be really cool, I saw that there are some test clothes there but they are only for "size 0"
as I said with the update, it's very epic, it's still a little game but you as a developer seem to care about it, so I have high hopes for it, hoping it will get better and better as time goes on, I believe in you dev :>, make this game as great as it can be
Thanks! I'm doing my best to work on this project since I've been wanting to make this game for literally years, but it's still going to be a long journey.
im not good at "voicing support", im terrible at talking to people, but here we are. i enjoy the game, as barebones as it is, and ill continue to support it. im completely inept when it comes to game developement so to be able to make a project like this, even with delays, i really repsect. especially as just one person or a small group. keep it up or something idk... i sound like a robot
Still working on it. I've been quite busy in the last two months so I haven't given as much time as usual to this project, but I'm still making progress. Just slower.
darn you game developers really got it hard, hope you can relieve yourself from whatever is keeping you busy, and I'm amazed you are still working on it anyways, gl ^^

Do we have to interact with Emma in three different IRL days or In game days?
The game plays in real time, in game days are IRL days.
i see
how do you get emma to gain weight?
Gifting her food will make her gain weight, even though a bit slowly. Inviting her over and feeding her also works and is a bit faster.
thanks, merry Christmas, or marry hannaka
Thank you, same to you!

That's some secret quest material.

Thanks, I think you should also add more clothes for the character but you have to buy them like pants and shirts
Yeah, that's also already planned.
but you also have to buy the right size other wise it will just start ripping and looks like it till it fully rips off
You were looking for writing help- and I'd love to pitch in the creative juices ive got- where can we talk?
Sure! Send me a message on Discord, my username over there is Kopp'R'Фld'S#6356.
That didnt work- have you changed it? And, of course, sorry for being gone there! I was out for the holidays with family!
No problem, real life comes first.
I haven't changed my username, it's still the same as what I gave you.
Really sorry it took me SO long to get that sent in, got busy for a while, but I'd be more than happy to help! I'm Sunward on there!
I really see this game coming out good
Please update soon
I will! I'm currently reworking the sprites to include more body types, and I'm almost done with making the different sprite parts. You can expect an update by the end of the month if everything goes right.
After that I'll go back to work on actual content: NPC, dialogs, places, games mechanics... Which should take a bit less time than this update.
Cool If you don't mind I could give you ideas?
Suggestions are always welcome!
How can I chat with her in the shop? I have done a lot of work, but she always has no free time.
You can't chat with Jenny, she doesn't have any dialog yet.
Regarding Emma, you need to interact with her on three different days. Then she'll start talking a bit more with you.
How can I make her happy?
You can either wait a day or two, or feed your character foods she likes.
Thank you very much. Another question is how can I make her eat more? Like more than 200%?
The characters' capacity are softlocked to 100% ; once you reach 100%, they'll generally refuse to keep eating until you let them digest. However:
Also, something worth noting: your character's maximum capacity will increase as you feed her and will unlock extra sprites where your character's belly gets much bigger (in total, there are 7 fullness steps including the "empty" one). It's a bit of a grind, but the more stuffed she is, the more her maximum capacity will increase, and trying to go past 100% will make this process a bit faster.
How do you do the feeder questline?
Befriend Emma enough and you'll have a new option to invite her over. Do this and feed your character in front of her. After doing it a few times, you'll unlock new dialogues and events with her. Keep it up and she'll eventually become your character's feeder.
Hey love the game! I was just wondering is here any other way to make money apart from the tetris style minigame?
Debug mode for now
how do the characters get naked or is it a glitch
They don't get fully naked.
I feel like the game doesn't function well on a real world clock, is there a way to fix that? it takes too long to do anything
Yep, I need to add more content. More characters, more events, more minigames, mores things to do in general. But the game will remain slow-paced.
but you can bypass the whole time system by just stuffing the character and getting them to sleep, at least having time pass after using the bed would be realistic
Sleeping doesn't bypass anything, it's just the way your character digests food. It is not realistic, but this game isn't really meant to be hyper realistic either.
Yes, she can gain weight.
Hey, I love the game, hope you decide to do more with it. I do have a question. I ended up looking in the dialog and event scripts for the game after playing for a good amount and came across what looked like storylines for Emma being a feedee and conversations while stuffed in the grocery. All dialogs currently in the dialog files are functional! But you may need to increase a few stats before being able to play them, such as your relation level with Emma, or your character's stomach capacity.

thank you i was thinking of creating a feeding game that uses animations with 3D characters with a bit extra
18+for my horny brothers and sisters. (also i don't care for money and cant use money)what would you suggest from this description?
Is there patreon or something? the dark gods are pleased with your work...
Not at the moment. Once the game is a bit more complete, I may set an optional payment method or open a ko-fi if people want to leave tips, but the game will remain free.

ok i see thank you for telling me
im umm probably stupid or something but im getting an error code whenever i open the game and the game itself just wont open umm
What's the error? I can' help much if I don't know what's happening.
sorry !

It is intentional. For he time being, I don't consider the game to be complete enough so I'm leaving it unlisted. But thanks!
thank you for all your hard work!! i'm so excited to play the new update!!
what character's heaviest weight?
The character's minimum and maximum weight depend on their height.
Currently, the shortest characters can weight from 64lb to 431lb, and the tallest ones can weight from 103lb to 692lb.
thanks!

i use the installer on windows~
How to make a full screen?
Not Tetris is too small to play.
There is no full screen mode.

How can I get a relationship with Jenny? Because when I see her working in the store I cant really talk to her.
You can't at the moment. Jenny is a placeholder character, she only has minimal dialogs. But she'll eventually get some attention too.
coming back to check on the status of both the next update and dev, cuz health is important :]
Sure thing, you can contact me on discord.
hello friend I loved your game, I just have one question, can you make emma fat? I've tried but it looks the same lol
You can! But it takes a bit of time. Make sure you give her gifts and invite her over to stuff her face every day, it'll eventually start to show.
Great update!
the graphics pack is not updated with the new clothes,
and a bug after picking up the hat from the market and you try to put the game crashes.
OBS: it would be nice to have a tool where we can create our own clothes, it would basically be a "CC" of The Sims
Thank you!
Thanks for the answer <3,
if you can release the graphics with the updated clothes it would be really cool, I saw that there are some test clothes there but they are only for "size 0"
Sure, I'll do it later this week. I'm in holiday with a limited access to my computer for now.
thanks! I will be waiting
I have updated the graphic pack with the new sprites!
The game might still be little but for that it's an absolutely amazing game!
Thank you for making this game :)
Thank you for playing it!
There's still a long way to go before I can even consider it a full fledged game, but so far I'm happy with how things are going.
as I said with the update, it's very epic, it's still a little game but you as a developer seem to care about it, so I have high hopes for it, hoping it will get better and better as time goes on, I believe in you dev :>, make this game as great as it can be
Thank you! As a socially awkward person, I understand you.
Seeing that people keep an eye on this game, keep downloading it, are playing it and even enjoy it gives me a sometimes much needed morale boost.
how's the update going?
Still working on it. I've been quite busy in the last two months so I haven't given as much time as usual to this project, but I'm still making progress. Just slower.
darn you game developers really got it hard, hope you can relieve yourself from whatever is keeping you busy, and I'm amazed you are still working on it anyways, gl ^^
how can you make emma talk to you?
Make friends with her! Interact with her once a (real time) day to increase her relationship level.
thanks :)
somehow ive managed to find an error when starting a new game then talking to the cashier:

how do i get relationship with npc
Talk to her every (real time) day. After about three or four days, you'll unlock a few dialogs.
