Been playing this for the last few days, and I really really enjoy it so far! It's obviously still pretty barebones in its current state, but compared to a lot of other weight gain games I've played over the years, this one just feels very pleasant to play. I really like the art, and overall design of everything as is, I just wish there was a bit more to it. Moments like stumbling into the grocery store drunk and coaxing Jenny into letting you play a drunken version of the minigame are a lot of fun, and I hope the finished game has more like that.

I will say that I agree with a few other commenters about the IRL time aspects not really adding much at this point. I trust that you have grander ideas for this mechanic, but as it stands it's basically a roadblock that limits your ability to make any real progress with Emma and Jenny, and it's kind of at odds with the fact that your character can sleep off a massive feeding session instantly.

I also had a question about the mod tools. I'll admit, I'm not entirely sure how to actually use any of the custom personalities and dialogue. I might just be missing an explanation though.

Regardless, I really hope you continue developing this, because I think you've got something really special here. I'm excited for the future updates, because from the sounds of things almost every minor issue I have is planned to get resolved at some point.

The mod tools is still a work in progress so not everything is functional. For now, you can't use custom personalities in game, it's mostly for me to make the required expressions for NPC dialogue. But once it's fully implemented, the idea is one personality corresponds to one set of custom interaction and/or dialogue. I think I should be able to make it a bit more functional in the next version if that's a feature people would like to play with a bit more.

For now, the only things you can really do with actual effects in-game are editing the default personality (cheerful) and available dialogues.

Regarding the real-time aspect, one of the inspirations is Animal Crossing. The only real gripe I have with it is that it becomes a bit of a chore, the real-time component may be too present and if you miss an event, you have to wait a full year for to experience it again (or savescum). What I'd like to achieve with this game is a slow, chill pace that won't force you to play every day while still giving you some incentive to come back. I'd like to find the right balance so you can play for a couple days, forget about it for a few weeks, then come back and don't feel like you missed out on a bunch of stuff while still offering something slightly different from the last time you started the game. I'm planning to introduce things like seasonal changes (mostly cosmetic stuff, won't fundamentally alter gameplay) or reoccurring event (X times a week/month...), so the game world feels alive but won't take too much space on your schedule. For now there's really not that much content, so that balance has definitely not been achieved, far from it. But hey, I'll try to get there once I'm done with making those god damn sprites.

i ran tests on the game exe and it says it has malware?

Not a malware.

The first screen is a community vote from one person (likely a bot / automation) linking to non-existent reports. The rest of the virustotal analysis clearly shows it has not been flagged as malicious by any security vendor. The only flags came from the installer version back in 2023 because it used an old Microsoft bundler that tended to trigger antivirus programs and has since been dropped completely.

I don't know about the Hybrid Analysis ones, but some of the features required for pretty much any game (such as reading/writing/deleting files from the AppData folder, for example) are similar to how a malware would behave. I'm pretty sure that's what's causing the sandbox reports.

What bugs were fixed in 0.9.5? I just really love reading through patchnotes lol. Also will the 0.9.4 gamedata work with 0.9.5?

I fixed a bug that broke the dialogues of some NPCs if your relation with them got too high.

0.9.4 gamedata will work no problem. Generally when I update the gamedata folder, I also upload the new gamedata as a standalone download. So if the download for the latest gamedata is older than the downloads for the game files, it means there haven't been any changes to the gamedata files.

Ahhh oki oki ty!!

I really like the vision so far, I could even imagine this being a multiplayer club penguin-like game.

Some suggestions:
There should be some sort of afk mechanic that allows you to set tasks or a schedule and have your girl do them in the background while you do other things on your computer. In that vein, she should digest over time when the game is left open. I dont know if autosaves are a thing but if not they should be.

It would be nice to have dialogue options with the girl, since she seems to talk to the player. I want to get to know her and maybe even have certain choices affect her behavior or lines in the future. Different types of physical interactions would be nice as well, grabbing, rubbing, etc . Different poses as a cosmetic option I think is a good idea. Maybe male characters in the future.
Nudity needs to be a thing.

Achievements and secrets would be fun, especially if they bring humor, this seems like the game for it.

Higher resolution would be nice.

As of right now the gameplay loop is too barebones for me to really sit down and play, and there really needs to be a more engaging avenue for befriending the other citizens. These need to be well communicated .

I will be following this game and if a major update comes out then I will check it out again. I hope I get to see this project really fleshed out eventually.
You should make a discord!

Thanks for the suggestions! Good news is that a good number of these are already in my backlog.

It'll take a lot of time to implement everything though, as I'm mostly working on this game on my free time... So some features like male characters have very little chances to ever make it to the game anytime soon (that'd translate into many, many more sprites = too much work tbh). But I'll definitely work on other less heavy features and have even already been thinking about the best way to handle a couple of them, like the afk mechanic or achievements. Achievements were actually part of my initial "specifications", and my first intention was to use the currently unused third tab of the inventory for it.

great job i love the club, waiting for next version

can i fatten npcs? if so, which ones?

So far you should be able to fatten Emma and Jenny. I'll add more in future versions.

Android version please

I'll be honest, it's not going to happen anytime soon. Sorry.

It's sadly (

Just found this game and its really good, but I have run into a problem but its probably cause im missing something

i heard from other posts that you could make emma a feeder and bring food to you or something similar to that, so I got through all of emma's feeder events with the dialogue and got emma_is_feeder in the completed events. However no matter how many times I invite her back to the house and fully stuff myself, when I talk to her she repeats the nice house line. Same goes for Jenny. I'm not sure if she starts feeding you if you interact with her outside of the house or another dialogue option.

Again this is probably cause I'm missing something obvious but I am kinda desperate to see the rest of the game. So I'd be happy to solve this issue, thanks in advance!

Sorry for answering late! That's odd, normally if Emma or Jenny are home with you and you've fed your character enough, the dialogues with them should change. Are you on Windows or Linux? Do you mind sharing your save file?

Funnily enough I was just logging back in to say that I figured it out and its working now, and the scenes are really damn good.

I'm excited for future updates cause the groundwork for this game is already great.

Cool update!
Cute Game that has cooking!

Bugs so far:
- I think "bacon" is not avaialble, to cook sandwiches or loaded potatoe, in this version ?
- Got several crashes when talking to npcs.
- Crash pressing "remove all" in the fashion menu.

Critics:
Game time beeing real time is a bad idea because you cannot visit certain ingame locations when you never play at the specific time.
I dislike the minigame, if i would want to play tetris or fruit matching games i would do that.

Idea: Make the game window not fixed in the middle of the screen but moveable and minimizeable.

cheers

Thanks for the feedback!

I'll take a look at the bugs. Bacon was  probably me toying with shops and forgetting to add an item or two back, I'll check it out. Regarding the crashes, I'll take a look too but more information would definitely help, the conditions for me to reproduce the issue for example.

The game being in real time can work if it's well designed. I'll take my chances.

Regarding tetris, there'll be more minigames eventually.

I'll add a button to move the window around. Regarding minimization, I wanted to try minimizing it into a small widget in the bottom left corner of the screen, showing only your character portrait and some very minimal interactions. But I haven't had much success with that so far. Worst case scenario I'll just do a regular minimize button.

Merry christmas!! I think i'll start a new save file in your honor as my previous one my first character could consume watermelons without showing the effects.

Are there any new feedee/feeder or secret scenes I should keep a look out for?

Also just noticed the ability to summon Emma was removed from the debug tool. Can you re-add it? Otherwise it's nearly impossible to get her to visit.

(1 edit) (+1)

I may bring it back later on, but I also need people to test the whole process of befriending and inviting the character.

How do we do that? If I talk to Emma I can't get her to come over.

You need to befriend her. Talk to her, give her gifts... She'll open up eventually. I may need to add some visual cue to show what actions have an influence on friendship levels, I'll add that to my to do list.

There's a sequence with Jenny now!

Heya, it has been a while since I last visited your game. I love how you have been doing the best you can to keep the game alive and continue developing. I still love this game as always. Hopefully, I will be there during the big update release.  Thank you for your hard work and dedication! :)

Thanks! I haven't been working on this as much as I should have lately, but I'll try my best to speed things up and make sure the next version gets released by the end of the year.

Take your time, it is always good to see a good update taken with time and effort.

Hello again! Unfortunately, I wasn't there during the update release, but I played it out either way. It brings me a smile to see new changes from you. I'm proud of ya.
